I like AT because it has Nemesis, Oblivion and other rides that i hadn't dreamed of... The staff were very friendly in the hotels, each room was really clean and when we got stuck on Air (grrrr...) they didnt hesitate to make sure we were ok. We were checked up on every 5-10 mins until we were rescued and even then they were still helpful. Big ups for that! They didnt hesitate giving us free perks for every rollercoaster! i thought that was awesome!

 

Thorpe Park has been my homepark ever since i was 3... i have been at least once every year! Shame about the down time on most of the rides though... Once again, staff are really cheerful and helpful

 

i have visited Pleasurewood Hills once when i was 5 or 6 (when the rollercoaster was called The Cannonball Express). It was a neat idea camping out in the fields (allbeit cold) then credit whoring the following day! Cant remember any of the rides though...

 

one that you did forget was Adventure Island... it was really bad, but these past 7 years have seen some major changes in the park...

 

UK theme parks seem to be based more on public relations than anything else... everybody seems so happy!

[Flying what is it like?]

^ A few feet? The last time I flew our plane fell like 100ft and it scared me to death. I seriously thought I was going to die. I have never been so scared in my life. But other than that, flying is awsome! It is so cool to look out the window and be above all the clouds. My advice is take something to listen to EX: an Ipod. When I listen to music it seems to calm me down and take my mind off what is going on around me. Dont worry. You will be fine! Just sit back relax and enjoy the ride!

take some hard boiled sweets to suck on during take-off and landing... it hurts if you dont!

 

also, you might hit airpockets(?) where the plane will suddenly fall for a bit... Ever done a mini freefall tower? Thats the feeling you'll get.

 

Otherwise, it'll be smooth sailing, maybe a film or a series of TV shows... Just dont worry about it, do what the air attendants tell you to and you'll be fine!

Yeah, I also hate those school trips in theme parks. Shouldn't school do something educational? Like going to a museum or visiting old buildings and stuff?

 

This park is located in a very dense populated area. I encountered terrible crowd's on a weekday in june at Thorpe Park (not too far from Chesington). Due to a fastpass I managed to do all the major rides at thorpe twice in one day.

 

I've never used one before... I might have to do that! Last time we went, we done the majors except Detonator, Stealth, Log Flume, Tidal Wave and N:I because they all broke down... all bar 2 while we were queuing up for them as well!

its awesome! we only got to do it twice today, the queues got up to 1/2 hour to 45mins (this is fairly high for those who don't know... the rides are usually hop-on-hop-off). it could just be because its a weekend...
