Hi guys! I live in Lake George, NY - and my homepark is The Great Escape. Shapiro has said numerous times that he wants to use this park as a model for future Six Flags parks.

Mark Shapiro visited The Great Escape last week, and while he was there - he sat down with our local newspaper, The Post-Star. In the interview, he speaks about expanding parks, his views on the future of SF parks, food price gouging, amongst many more topics.

It was in the print version of 6/18/06 paper. The article itself was never on their website - so it got posted on The Great Escape's Fan Site so everyone can read it. I figured it would be benefical to scan it and post it on the site, which I did. It's a really interesting Q & A. Some of the things he says is just laughable. He constantly compares Six Flags to Disney. The last I checked, Six Flags wasn't a destination as Disney is.

I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt and leave up your link since you were linking to actual content, but I looked at your (five) previous posts and they all had blatant links to your site.

So YES, this is considered Spam. It's in the rules when you signed up:

14. Posting Links or "Spamming" - If you are a brand spanking new user with very few posts, and you're linking to YOUR personal website or forum or some other website just to advertise, don't do it. Your link will be pulled. The moral of the story: If you're an active user, you can post links to stuff, if you're spamming, expect to get kicked in the groin!

The best thing to do if you actually wanted to contribute would to be to post the interview on here using the quote function. Your posting history obviously shows your only interest was getting people to your site.

(sorry to jow and jew for deleting your posts)
