matt.hibb Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 I am planning a trip to Florida next year. I am either going in late June or last week in August/1st week in September. Could anyone tell, in their experiences, at which of these times are the parks likely to be quietest? or are the queues just hours long in general? Thanks
obeygiant Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Actually either time would be good because kids are back in school, so parks won't be as packed as they are in the summer when kids are out of school. But, September would be a good time because it's closer to winter, so it could be getting kind of cooler.
disneyfan1313 Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Er - First week in September is no cooler than the end of August. As far as crowds the last week in August will be a bit slower (although there is a free dining promotion at WDW along with kids concerts that might skew that a bit). A good rule of thumb is to look at the park hours. Shorter the hours the slower it is going to be!
obeygiant Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 ^ That is true, the first week in sept. is not cooler than the last week in August, but I like to hope it is...
