KINGDA KA Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Im going to pga on june 25. Any advice. Also how long is the wait on Survivor
phazan Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Last time I was at PGA the line for Survivor was about 15-20 minutes. That was on a Sunday in April on a cool cloudy day. My advice is to go on the weekday if possible. Weekends are okay, but weekdays are always better to visit themeparks as far as crowds go. Defidently go on TopGun. Vortex is kind of rough for a B&M but it has a cool layout IMO. Demon will always have a short line; everyone says it sucks, but I really like it for the type of coaster it is. I recomend riding it once if you have time. Any thing else?
Coaster Palooza Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Sundays aren't usually bad early. Below is my circuit, but you might need to change it if you need to ride something else. I can can get this done by 11:30 on Sundays. I have been there so often. Go to the left first and ride Top Gun Continue on the left side to ride Delirium. (if you want a kiddie credit, hit up Taxi Jam). After Delirium head to the back for Psycho Mouse, Survivor, Drop Zone and Grizzly. They are all in the same area. You should be around the food court now. If you need to eat, now is the time. I am here by about 11am. Next hit Invertigo (if it is running and not too long of a wait). I don't ride this anymore because of the long lines for it. They load the ride so slow. Demon is right next to Invertigo. Last ride of the day, Vortex. I really wouldn't make this the last ride because it beats you up a little bit. I would make sure I ride Top Gun a couple more times before I leave the park. Depending on what you need/want to do. Some might say start right to get the low capacity rides out of the way (Invertigo), but Psycho Mouse is a low capacity ride too. Roll the dice and take a chance!
Sean Menefee Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 Get your Pyscho Mouse and Survivor rides first because of load times, those lines tend to crawl during the later hours of the day. We usually work our way to the back half of the park at opening and try to hit Top Gun right around lunch time. Outside of that make sure to ride Eagles Flight/Delta Flyer for some great photos opportunities, and bring a pillow for Grizz. Also be sure to grab a backseat on Whitewater Falls, it's has some airtime goodness that most people wouldn’t expect from just looking at it. SM- (Side note....try to get on the blue side of the Survivor Disk-O, it offers the best ride experince IMO.)
KINGDA KA Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 Just came back and was the worst day ever. Survior is dead,Vortexand Top Gun broke down and lines were very long.
