Dancingcoaster
I need an idea for a new park on RCT3. I saw plenty of good ones (Pennywood, Clayville Manor [i can't wait!], etc.) but I don't want to copy anyone's idea. Can anyone please give me a boost on what my park should be? Reon
Heres a coaster that I thought of and never persued (and never shall, since my RCT2 disk somehow got scratched...) Basically, for theme/concept think EE exept different. The ride starts out as your vehicles crawl into a cave at the bottom of a mountain. Once their completely surrounded by dark, the plunge down a small yet steep drop, and go into a few sharp turns.(Illusion of the monster pulling you into it's lair.) After turning so that your parallel to the cave entrance, you fly out onto the lift hill via an extra exit. The lift is slow, but takes you up pretty high. Once you get to the top, you hear a roar, and fly down the mountain (you can use a BM launch at the tip, but it really isnt needed...) The 'big drop' consists of the track following some rocky terrain, swerving left and right (sort of zig-zag, double-downish...) After a big swooping turn around, you face towards the mountain, where you see the monster's mouth inviting you in. The train plunges up into the mouth, and the main underground section begins. Here you have some freedom. The basic concept is your 'fighting' the monster in this section, so make lots of unexspected hills, turns, and (if you make it steel) inversions. Eventually, you do an upwards helix, and burst out of the mountain, at around station height. At this point, you should be heading around the main drop, and gradually slowing down as you turn around the mountain and back towards the station. But that's just an idea you can use... kennywood!007
I usually try to make my parks realistic, but sometimes I get a little to themey! But ,my info is, build stations and ques, make these the appropiate theming to the ride's name. I also use lots of trees, and don't be afraid to tweak the land a little bit! (meaning lower or rise) To make my parks look more real, I also use Jcatt's (sorry if I spelt it wrong) Pumper Steel Worx custom scenery set. It includes many supports and also catwalks. There is a great topic with links to all the the custom scenery sets. Thats all I got for now, hope this helps! -Zack- P.s glad you liked Pennywood!
