Hi Guys,

I'm returning to Orlando for the 4th time this November, but this year is the first time we are staying on a Disney Resort. (usually stay on I Drive)

How easy is it to get to places like I Drive and Universal from a Disney resort without driving myself ??

Any info you guys could provide would be great !

P.S. Is the Conarado springs resort any good ??

I always joke with people that they need to take the plaid monorail from WDW to Universal. Fortunately (or unfortunately), no one has asked a Cast Member where the plaid monorail is.

To get from WDW to Universal without a car, there are several options. Here is a link to some good offsite transportation and the costs from Intercot.com:

A cab from the Swan at WDW to Universal costs about $40 each way for up to 5 people.

Someone else will have to tell you about Cornado Springs. I've only stayed onsite at WDW at the Swan/Dolphin and the All Stars.

Thanks for the link my friend .. it's given me a good few ideas.

How easy is it (or not as the case may be) to get from disney to say universal (and back) using buses ?

I've never used buses or taxis from WDW to Universal, but from what I've heard, it isn't too hard. Universal has a special bus/taxi/guest drop-off area. Taxis and buses congregate there often.
