nissanskyline1235
Ok, so I'm in the market for a new laptop. I was looking at the Alienware Area-51 m5500. It seems... overpriced now that I think about it. Have any of you ever heard of, or had experience with "Vigor Gaming Computer"? http://www.vigorgaming.com/index.html They seem to have reasonable configurations, and good pricing. Plus, I see nothing but praise on resellerratings. I was looking at the "Ares": Intel Pentium Centrino Mobile Processor 760 at 2.00 GHz, 533MHz FSB, 2M Cache Obsidian Black (Please allow 5 to 10 additional days for customized painting) Intel 915GM + ICH6-M Chipset w/533MHz FSB 15.4QuoteMark WXGA 1280x800 ClearView Glossy-Glass Wide Screen TFT LCD Display Patriot 2GB SODIM PC2-4200 DDR2 533MHz Memory (2 X 1024MB) 80GB High Performance S-ATA150 5400 RPM Hard Drive Dual Graphic Boot: Switchable nVidia GeForce Go 6600 256MB 16X PCI-Eor Integrated Intel Graphics Extreme 3 Internal 8X Dual Layer DVD+/- RW + 24X CDRW Rewritable Drive Bundled DVD/CDRW Software Sound Blaster Pro Compatible, High Definition Azalia 3D Digital Audio Built-in WiFi Wireless 802.11b/g Wireless Card Built-in Gigabit 10/100/1000 Mb/s NIC 56K Modem with V.90 Technology 3 USB, Firewire, S-Video Out, 15-pin CRT, PCMCIA Card Bus, and 4-in-1 Card reader for MMC/SD/MS/MS Pro Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition with Service Pack 2 Extended 1 Year Limited Parts and Labor (Total 2 Years) Warranty Li-Ion Smart Battery Corel Wordperfect Suite Norton Anti-Virus Grand Total $2181.00 It seems good enough. I sent them an email about including a X1600 instead of the nVidia card. Opinions, anybody? --Cody W
