A Scary situation happened before

our Familys Supper tonight!!!

 

Mom was making Hashbrowns for tonights

dinner, there was a cloth potholder stuck to the pan!!!

We didnt know it was stuck under there until i saw Flames

and i was like OMG Mom the Pots on fire.

Scary Fire was quickly put out.

 

I am sure glad the House didnt burn

down

You just reminded me to check my smoke detectors.

 

Unfortunately, it often takes an "Unexpected" event to remind people about doing the basics, like checking their smoke detectors or whether your home fire extinguisher is in need of recharging. (They often are)

 

But luckily you were able to put out the fire, because there isn't anything much worse than have your home catch fire or worse burn down. With earthquakes (I'm in CA) or floods, you can often still retrieve your personal belongings. With a fire though, they may be gone forever, and there isn't an insurance policy out there that can replace things like family photos.

 

But luckily for you, things turned out for the best!
