rollermonkey Posted February 12, 2006 Posted February 12, 2006 I noticed that a few of our members now have a common member title: band 4 speeling Is this meant to be a warning to those induhviduals (Those who receive the DNRC Newsletter (Dilbert) will know that's no typo!) that they have been observed not following posting guidelines and that they are being monitored closely for possible banishment? Or is it a cue to those who understand proper utilization of the English language that some translation may be required to read the post attached? It is sad that any measures must be taken, because many of our members do not in fact speak English as a first language and yet, still do a better job of communicating than some of our younger American (and UK) members. (If I am guilty of anything it is excess usage of parenthetical statements (like this one) and excess usage of elipses, which are these...)
