ManWithNoName505
I am thinking about getting No-limits, but I still don't know if I should get Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, I know making coasters in No-limits is really hard, but it looks like fun. Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 has the theme and the rides, I don't know what to get. What would you guy's do?
kenshinmac
Well if you want a game that has rollercoasters and managing a park then RCT3 is the way to go especially now with the Gold set which has both the expansions in it. If you want a decent toolkit and simulator with a lot of flexibility then No Limits is the way to go. Keep in mind that there are a lot of people who spend days if not weeks on a single coaster. If that doesn't sound like you then it probably isn't for you. Both are great things and it depends on what you want. RCT3 does have a lot of new coasters and such that No Limits lacks. hyyyper
IMO NoLimits is far better than RCT3, just because of the fact that it's hard, because then you can see when someone really made an effort to make a coaster everyone can make an rct3 track, nolimits starts with crappy tracks, which, when looked upon later are actually quite amuseming. also the level of control in rct3 is very small, you work in tiles of what....10 by 10 ft? In NL you can work in centimeters, meters, you were you want it to snap, also for custom supportwork. The editor is very handy and the fact that both programs are apart, makes the desing in the editor quite fast because of the wireframe detail. As for scenery, you can add your own by making objects and terrain, such as lakes, hills, tunnels....
dejavu1316
I have both, but to me RCT is a little funner becuase you can actually make parks, but they both rock.

coasterlover420
RCT3 is a lot harder to run on a not-super-fast computer. NL can run on like windows 98.
