I'm planning on going to Disneyland for a weekend trip in the near future and needed to get a few questions answered. I'm coming from Detroit Michigan and would like not to rent a vehicle if possible.

Does Disney or someone else provide an affordable means of transportation to and from the airport. Which airport is the best to fly into to ease transportation to and from Disneyland. What are some nearby hotels that are affordable and within walking distance of the park.

Is it reasonably easy to find transportation to and from Knott's Berry Farm.

Is there anywhere to purchase discounted tickets to Disney. I'm looking to do a hopper pass in order to visit both parks. I can get into Knott's for free.

Please help me out if possible!

I believe Disneyland has Shuttle Service from LAX and SNA. (Wes might know more)

There are also hotels in the Anaheim/Buena Park area with Shuttles to both Disney and Knott's.

Well there are lots of Econo Hotels around DisneyLand as opposed to Disneyworld!

But, if your looking for discount tickets into DisneyLand well then Good Luck! they Dont Exist!

As for Knotts Berry Farm, the only discounts are for "Local" residents, if your from out of town, then your out of luck!

Closest airport: John Wayne (SNA)

There is Taxi at the airport, however, if you are staying near Disneyland and that hotel is "Good Neighbor Hotel", then you might be lucky and have the airport shuttle service.

I recommend any hotels near Disneyland. Howard Johnson comes to mind... And those hotels DO have shuttles to Knott's Berry Farm, I believe.

Check out the official Disneyland websites, and look at what you think is the best.

I can give you some park help if you want it. If you're going to both parks, DCA and DL, then be prepared to use two days if you want to ride everything. If you're going to KBF then do not go on a Saturday. It usually is packed. Depending on what time of year you go, the crowds will either be light, or packed.
