Splash Kingdom Wild West in Hudson Oaks, Texas has been acquired by a new ownership group who will operate the park under a new name, Canyon Springs. Along with the rebranding, the new operators have plans to enhance the park's attractions and facilities, improve operational standards and training and over time add new attractions and experiences to the park's lineup.

A new ownership group has officially acquired Splash Kingdom Wild West in Hudson Oaks and announced plans for a comprehensive revitalization of the property. The park will operate under a new name, Canyon Springs, marking the beginning of a renewed vision and long-term investment in the facility.

The ownership group has partnered with P2:3 Consulting, a Texas-based waterpark operations firm, to oversee park management and guide the revitalization process. The focus of this partnership is operational excellence, facility improvements, and elevating the overall guest experience.

“This is an exciting new chapter for our park and for Hudson Oaks,” said Zulema Cano, General Manager of Canyon Springs. “Our team is committed to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where families can make lasting summer memories. We are focused on thoughtful improvements and delivering a consistent experience our guests can trust.”

Johnny Blevins, CEO of P2:3 Consulting, emphasized that the work will extend beyond surface-level upgrades.

“Revitalization is not just about new paint or new signage,” said Blevins. “It requires clear operational standards, disciplined leadership, and a long-term commitment to guest experience. Our team is focused on building a strong operational foundation that will support Canyon Springs for years to come.”

Planned Improvements

The Canyon Springs revitalization will include:

• Upgrades to existing attractions and infrastructure
• Facility enhancements and visual improvements
• Implementation of strengthened operational standards
• Guest service training and improved service systems
• New attractions and experiences to be announced

While guests will notice visual improvements, much of the work will focus on strengthening the operational foundation of the park to ensure a cleaner, safer, and more consistent experience.

Season Passes Will Be Honored

All valid 2026 Splash Kingdom Wild West season passes will be honored according to their original terms.

“We want our passholders to feel confident in this transition,” said Cano. “Existing season passes remain valid, and we are committed to making this process smooth for our families.”

The rebrand to Canyon Springs represents a long-term commitment to the Hudson Oaks community. The ownership group views this investment as the start of a multi-year strategy to position the park as a premier regional summer destination.
