ItsMe Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 (edited) My other reports... - Credits in Dubai & Sharjah - The pearl of Abu Dhabi: Yas Waterworld - INCLUDING Flying Aces pull through and construction photos - Ferrari World - Wild Wadi Hotel, Ski Dubai, IHOP, Global Village and Hotel-Restaurant I thought it would be nice to share my, well... our, Arabian Adventures on TPR. First things first: English is not my native language. I am not able to provide you with writings on the level of f.e. JK Rowling, neither can I provide you with high quality photos that are usable in the Lonely Planet Guide, as water, movement and darkness aren't any photographer best friend. Unfortunately I didn't bring a whole Harem composed out of hot European woman to the UAE, to make them show (in bikini) how hot it was over there. Well, now that is made clear... what do I've got in store for you? A load of questionable credits, the fastest coaster on this planet, and a lot of wetness. Yes, the UAE it is! If I had to choose an overall theme for my reports, besides the probably not so good use of the English language, it would be luxury. Why? Well, you cannot visit that part of the world without it. Crab yourself a Coke, sit back and enjoy the photos and many, many words I've dedicated to our trip. I know I've dedicated many, many words to some parts of our trip. However, today I will keep it short as the title says it all. We started the day by relaxing, took a drive to Ski Dubai, went for a quick IHOP bite, moved to Global Village and ended the day in the outdoor hotel restaurant. Global Village is kind of hard to describe. It is a mix of a world fair and a permanent funfair/temporarily theme park - it is there six months a year. A lot, and I mean a lot, of locals... almost no tourists. Driving around that parking lot is some scary sh*t Shall we move on to the photos? Good morning heat! No need for a fire. There is this need for cooled water! Check-in area. Lobby area. Relaxing for a while. Love this pool! We are NOT alone! Trying to be artistic . Like an painting. Looks impressive when entering Mall of the Emirates. Almost realistic! Our primary goal here. It is surreal, from sand and heat to snow in twenty minutes. All(most) for myself. Been there, done that. Let's warm up again. Fooooooooooooooood. Funky stuff going on. We are arriving at the craziest and most busy parking lot ever at Global Village. Their so-called mainstreet section. Really, really... Crowded! Edited February 9, 2016 by ItsMe
ItsMe Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 The second part After the global part, including some really questionable shops, you can find the rides. That wheel has some really funky animated lightplan. Powered credit! We will come back to this later on. Worst horror house ever! For all credit whores. Sweet! Looks great, however not taking a ride. My stomach wouldn't agree on riding this. Same story. We didn't feel like getting wet Another standard ride. However all together this fair is pretty big. Looks a bit like RTC!? Now, let's ride. And to finish some fireworks. It is not Disney, however it is pretty decent. And last time . Byebye Global Village! GHOOOOOOST! Ghosts also need food. And beer. And really bad dancers. And more beer. And when out of beer, other alcoholic beverages.
