Once again I am limited to 10mb, so time is precious. I cannot say everything in the video.

 

 

Well, ever since my school canceled its Video II class, I have been scraping for things to make a video of! Its much easier when I was assigned the tasks! Well, since you guys seemed to enjoy my Disneyland 50th Anniversary Video Trip Report, I thought I would do another. This time, its Universal Studios Hollywood…you know, the real movie studio.

 

For those not familiar with the park, Universal Studios Hollywood is what started the Universal chain. It originally consisted of simply a tram tour of the Universal Backlot, a ride that is still there to this day (with a few added scenes ), and what I would still consider the best ride in the park. Its what they do best. Anyway, the park is constructed on a hillside, with two levels…the upper lot, and the lower lot…both connected by a series of four massive escalators.

 

I have not been to the park for several years. It was almost a new park experience for me! I had loads of fun, but if that is the consistent Universal offering, than I don’t see why people say they are better than Disney is. Regardless, I really enjoyed myself. A few attractions were, eh, such as Van Helsing: Dracula Fortress, and The Revenge of the Mummy. Yes, the Revenge of the Mummy was a waste of money, if you ask me. It’s an indoor launched coaster, but our version is the equivalent of driving on a windy road, in a convertible, at night…its that lame.

 

In fact, for time reasons, I didn’t even include it in the video! Sorry, if you will only watch videos with roller coasters in them! I also apologize for the poor quality! I have to fit the video in 10mb if I am to fit it on the site. I DEFINITELY wouldn’t say that the video is as funny as the Disneyland video, but I hope it at least puts a smile on your face. Besides, I remedied the number one complaint…I have a ton of footage, from inside the park. I just need to find a better balance between the park footage and the jokes. Well, enjoy!
