Uploading Excel & Photos to a Post

I'm new to TPR. A while back, I tried to attach a small Excel workbook stored on my PC to a post in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, and Donkeys, in the Road Trip Planning thread, by typing the workbook's name in the file name box. A message appeared on the screen that it was uploading the Excel workbook. The message appeared for several hours, and the upload was never completed. Could you please tell me the way to attach an Excel workbook that is stored on a PC? In case you need to see the actual post, it is the one by Voyager6442 on 10/18/14 at 8:58.

Would you please also tell me the way to attach a copy of a photo from a web site?

Thanks for all the great work you do! You have an awesome web site. For the parks I'm planning to go to in 2015, I'm having fun going to each park's discussion thread and reading all the posts, beginning with the oldest one.

Not sure what problem you were having. It worked just fine for me using the photo/file attachment system that you see at the bottom of the editor when you are posting.
