cairon Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 If you're looking for a unique french theme park experience and a less "touristy" theme park - this is it. The park offers an interesting alternative to the Disneyland Park with some very interesting attractions that you can't usually find elsewhere and the unmistakably humor that made the Astrix comics world famous is apparent throughout out the park. The theming is lovely and the park itself recently added a whole new Egyptian land this year. With its rich theming, fun atmosphere - this is a nice place to explore and enjoy. A nice day trip/break from Paris as well. Entrance to the park, I just love the soundtrack: Here's another one: One of the more convenient ways to get to the park is by taking this bus which was a bit of a hassle to find. I recommend researching where it is before you go. Even the design of different signs at the park is unique and funny. Lot's of details everywhere you look, which keep things interesting even if you just walk though the park Look at that huge mountain ... there's Asterix! Guess what - you're not the only one who is attracted by that view One of the first things you see when you enter the park and one of the first attractions to postpone to a later time because of the huge crowds. Here's Asterix again! This lion (Hercule??) reminds me of my cat... that's his usual pose unless he's eating. The theming is really terrific. Maybe not on par with the Disney parks, but close. I just love how everything looks kind of quarky. Beautiful element such as this huge head statue. I honestly don't remember where I saw this one.... This is a nice river cruise where you meet the different characters of the comics. I just love the signs of the park... so here's another one. The merchandise here is hard to resist - be careful Not sure what that is - but it's a good place to strike a pose.
