Hey There,

Taking a trip with a few buddies to IOA and Universal for 3 days in Dec 16- 18th.

What are the main points we should hit at the parks?

Mostley about Coasters and thrill rides.

And should we waste our time with any of the clubs at CityWalk?

If Not any good Dance clubs near Universal and International Drive?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Jay

On Friday or Saturday night try to go to the Jazz club when they turn it into a stand up club -- they usually get some pretty funny people in there (better than most local comedy clubs I see you are 38, and the crowd at the clubs in City Walk seemed to be much younger than that (early to mid 20s) so that's your call.

Make sure you ride Hulk first since its near the front and has a long line. Definately don't miss Spiderman either and you can ride Dueling Dragons at any time since it tends to have a quick moving line. Try to ride all three coasters at night because they rock in the dark! At Studios, try to grab your rides on Mummy early since it was the only ride with a long line last time I was there, which was January so I'm sure you'll see crowds similar to what I saw (30 minute waits at most)

Have fun

Thanks for the info guys.

As for the Clubs, I'm 38 , but a Club DJ by trade, so i can run with the best of them.

Got a pass for City Walk already, so i guess i'm set there.

Thanks for all your help so far.

Here's my tip: get in as early as you can, and leave as late as you can. Whenever I go I get in early, ride everything I can before it fills up, then go eating / shopping / whatever, and ride/reride everything I can after it calms down. If I hit the low-capacity rides first/last and the higher capacity rides second / second to last, then I get everything in with little wait.

Of course that goes for any themepark, but especially one as crowded as IOA (and it is a hugely crowded themepark).
