Cedar Point, Waldameer, and Kennywood

Next summer, I was going to have a mini-road trip to Kennywood, Waldameer, and Cedar Point. Would late August be a good time for this, or should I try to move it to May? Just wondering since this would be my first time to all three. Thanks in advance!

As a rule of thumb I NEVER plan trips to US parks in May if they're opening new rides as there's been some issues lately with parks getting stuff open before July!

 

That being said, those parks are a pretty safe bet for May openings. I would say early May or late August would be about the same crowd wise. Just be sure to check operating schedules because at both of those times the parks are not necessarily open daily.

^Thanks for the info! I actually decided to hit up some parks like SFA and SFGAdv earlier on in the season, just because I'm used to them.
