Feedback before undertaking

So I have been plain around with an idea to build a model of Radiator Springs Racers and would like to make it working. The reason behind this is because my partner and I are really struggling with money, and it seems like Disney fans would be willing to pay for something like this. What do you think? Any input?

Sorry, I know nothing about building a model of an attraction, the time or costs involved, so I have no idea if it's something you'd make money on or not.
