Rebecca and I are talking about going to Spain and just renting a car to go travelling around the coutry. So do you need a special international driver's licence or something? Or does my plain old California licence work? Thanks!

It should work just fine...I know out of all the countries we drove in only one said it required an 'International Drivers License' and that was Italy. Since we never got pulled over, nor did we rent the car in Italy we never actually had to show it or use it.

Just check the Spain Tourism Website and it will tell you if you need one or not. If you do, you can get one at AAA for about $20 and it requires no effort.
