Kings Island visit in June

Hi All,

 

It appears my wife and I will be kid-less the last week of June and we were talking about making a trip to King's Island in Cincy. I was just wondering what is the best day of the week to go to avoid crowds? I was thinking Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday but its been so long since I been even though I grew up in Cincy. I was just curious too, what's up with SOB? Is it ever going to reopen because I've never gotten a chance to ride it yet and I would love to be able to jump aboard for a ride or two on that thing.

To answer your question about SOB the park has announced that it will remain closed for the 2011 season.

^Last week of June will be pretty crowded as everyone's done with school. Camp trips will also play a role in crowds. At SFMM Wednesday was our big Camp Day, but in some areas it's Tuesday/Thursday.

 

You'll just have to suck it up and be prepared to deal with crowds...that park can get pretty brutal.
