ericm95
Chapter 1: Investigation Summer 1979 In the small town of Henryville, Vermont there is an abandoned amusement park that my boss, Tom Locke, recently purchased for a cheap half a million. He heard it needs a lot of work and he sent me to investigate it! I have my trusty Polaroid camera with me and I recently got to the park yesterday. It's in worse shape than we thought! There's overgrown grass everywhere and coming out of the pavement, vines on the buildings, and the parking lot has faded to a grey color. Tom will not tell me what happened to this park that caused it to shut down, and there are no news reports or anything! It's like it never existed! It makes me even more curious to what happened. As you can see from the pictures below the grass has gotten outta hand and vines on the buildings. This sign has seen better days..... That is all I got to see of the park today, but I'm going back soon to see the entry plaza, I'm scared of what I might see. Stay tuned! ericm95
Chapter 2: Main Entry Today Tom and I went to see the main entry together..... and we were shocked!! The whole entry was basically destroyed! I guess it wasn't a bad thing since the entrance seemed lackluster anyways! Luckily Tom drew up some plans for a new main entry! We would like some feedback! The whole thing is destroyed! Poles sticking out, it's just terrible! I wana know what happened to this place. And the other side.... is like gone. I guess it isn't such a bad thing it's destroyed... the new entrance looks great! But as I was leaving I saw something strange, it kinda looks like a scorch mark. Strange? It's hard to see due to the chain link fence... But I'm even more curious to what happened... Well that's it today, what do you guys think of the new entrance? Feedback is appreciated! SoCalCoasters
I like it, do the three towers connect? Also, it would help if you turned down the sketch a little.

emberfoot4565
I like the entrance too. Maybe connect the towers? I love the overall feel of this so far. Great story!
ericm95
Hey everybody! After I saw the scorch mark at the park I knew something happened here, and I wanted to know what! So I snuck into Tom's office and browsed through his files, , And saw this article. Very interesting! But Tom walked in as I was reading it. He was mad at first but I explained why I was and he told me more about it. He said, "Henryville is a town where 'no' accidents happen, that's why families always come out here. Once this fire happened they covered it up, they made sure the media didn't catch hold of this. So they burned all the newspaper articles and all the townspeople just moved on with their lives. But the park was heavily damaged and was hit with lawsuits, so it was abandoned and left there to rot. But two years later another fire occurred which destroyed the rest of the park (The main entry)." I'm still pretty confused on how they blocked the media, but they did a great job at it! Well that's all for today. ******************************************* ^Thanks! I tried connecting it but it looked kinda weird.
