TDB Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 (edited) Welcome to Blue Lagoon Amusement Park! Blue Lagoon has been owned and operated by two families, the Banks family and Miller family, for over 100 years. It’s a duel dynasty that has seen the park through both good and bad times. The park has been slowly developed over the years, keeping a more traditional amusement park feel. Blue lagoon is honored to be one of only three amusement parks in the country to be designated as a National Historic Landmark. Combining the best of the new with the best of the old to create a one of a kind experience is what Blue Lagoon is all about! The park features many unique attractions. There is something for almost everyone. However, not everything is perfect. Unfortunately, the park has been neglected over the past few years… Edited September 12, 2010 by TDB
Mastersax68 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 Welcome to TPR! It does seem a bit crowded, but you've got a really nice atmosphere. Hope to see this park make it!
TDB Posted September 12, 2010 Author Posted September 12, 2010 Ride maintenance has been horrible; all the rides experience frequent downtime. The once beautiful foliage is now dead and decrepit. Paths are falling apart. Food quality is less than appetizing. Apparently guests have taken notice. Park attendance has hit an all time low. Something must be distracting the two families that own and operate the park, something big. Otherwise Blue Lagoon would not be in this state of despair...
triggernel Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 I see a corporate buyout coming. The park looks awesome, and I love the story!
