I'm guessing this is probably the best place to ask this...

Anyway, with the summer winding down, i've found myself deprived of the glorious adrenaline rush that comes with riding a roller coaster (among other things). This has been my first summer season where i've gone all out with riding roller coasters (been to SFNE 7 times, SFGAdv twice, and Lake Compounce 4 times, and i loved it all). But now it's been raining for two days, i've been sitting on my ass for two days, all my friends have gone back to school already, and i'm going back to school in a week (never to ride another roller coaster until May). Of course, after a few days i'm sure i'll be feeling fine, but i've been pretty depressed, and i can distinctly pinpoint it to the lack of adrenaline flowing through my body (head feels fuzzy, sleepy all the time, bad mood and whatever). I definitely get my big high from falling 250 feet to the ground.

I'm just wondering if other coaster-lovers have to deal with this as well. Do you get what would be considered a "high" from riding roller coasters, and do you generally not feel as well when you know you can't be on a ride?

Yes, ish. I'm the only coaster enthusiast in my family, and the nearest park is over an hour away, so going to a park is an "event". I get my off-ride and off-season thrills from RCT and Youtube.
