Planing my first "Short Trip"

While I'm a fan of roller coasters and rides and listen to 4 podcast a week I usually find myself only headed to the parks usually once a year, usually to just Darien Lake. Well This year so far not even thought (kinda upset I won't be able to go cus I got sick during the time I could buy tickets for $15 and it's kinda stuipd how much they normally charge, kinda sucks with the new Predator Trains and water park being added) Anyway not to drag the point along. My brother goes to college in Niagara Falls and on the way is Martin's Fantasy Island and I convinced my parents to have them drop me off for like 4 or 5 hours while they un-pack him. I've never been before but I am familiar with what's there. I know I want to hit up their woodie, Silver Comet, and the wild mouse, but other then that I don't know what is worth my time. As far as flats go the star-flyer looks sweet, but is their anything else that is better the getting extra laps on Silver Comet? I'm going on a Saturday (unfortunately) so I'm guessing it'll be crowed. What should I hit up and in what order? Also in general how do you get the most out of a short visit to the park?

EDIT: turns out it's acutely Thursday. so crowds shouldn't be too horrible
