Yesterday, on my way to Pittsburgh, me, my sister, my dad, and his gf all stopped at Cedar Point.

We arrived at 9:45, and waited at one of the openings near Raptor that were chained off for early-entry riders until official opening. Once they announced they were opening, the only one that opened was further down. The security guard near us said he wouldn't open for another 10 minutes, which was kind of frustrating, seeing as we had a large crowd waiting to get through, and we were at the front. So we quickley walked to the other opening, and headed for Raptor.

We got in line, and luckily, we waited about 15 minutes until we were on the catwalk leading up to the station. When we looked back, I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw nearly the whole line was filling up. We got on the front seat pretty quickley, minus the 10 minutes we had to wait because somebody either puked, peed, or done a #2 in the second row.

Another clean-up incident happened on Corkscrew later on, when someboyd barfed their guts out in the front seat, in the blue train. But the staff all handled these situations quickley and efficiently. Pretty much all the staff were friendly and seemed to be having fun with their jobs, which was cool to see.

One of the cooler things that I've never seen before so far, is the boxes that correspond with your train number/color at the stations, so your crap won't get stolen as easy. Whoever came up with that idea, I give you props. The only exception that I encountered was on Top Thrill Dragster, where I was forceed to cough up $2 for a small locker, because of a previous sun-glasses incedent. Someone must've been sue-happy.

I'd also like to give a huge thanks to the Cedar Point security and EMS, who was of great assistance whilst I was in line for Mantis, when my sister passed out due to the heat. They arrived w/in a matter of minutes, and carted us to First Aid. Telly, our EMS worker, was VERY friendly and professional, and I thank him alot for his help. I'd also like to thank whoever that random girl was behind us who gave my sister pretty much a full Gatorade, and helped her until EMS arrived.

My sister was given more to drink, and food to eat, and within 20 minutes, my sister was back up and riding again. So thanks alot Telly, and the rest of Cedar Point's employees.

Now for the rides. I didn't get Mantis, for obvious reasons, and I missed Millenium this time due to lack of time, and my need to ride Maverick.

Raptor - 9/10 - Rode in front seat. Very fun inversions, and great speed. Seemed much more fun and fast than the last time I rode it. It was really disorienting, and I was happy to walk down the exit ramp w/out my balance.

Corkscrew - 7/10 - Still a fun ride, especially when you have no lines for it. I rode in the back, and it seemed really bumpy exiting the loop, and entering the first corkscrew. But it is still a good, fun looper to get on, and the lack of wait time makes it better.

Top Thrill Dragster - 10/10 - Love it still. The launch seemed more force full this time; I was near the back. Some airtime and a great view from the top, and some blissfull freefall. Definitely remains in my favorites.

Magnum XL 200 - 8/10 - Seemed a rougher than my previous ride, and the lap bar hurt my legs a bit. But the consistent airtime, tunnels, and the high g's at the bottom of the first drop surely make this a fun hyper.

Gemini - 8/10 - We rode in the blue train and won, thanks to the red train's brakes being on near the last turnaround.

Maverick - 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000/10 - Holy *************! I see why this was voted "Best New Ride of 2007"! I was in the front row, and while I've heard many great things about this one, I was still not prepared for what was to come. The beyond-vertical drop (my first one), was really cool and unique, and provided great airtime. The pullout was really forceful, and pinned me to my seat, which I love. The turns that whip you around were so much fun to me, and didn't hurt at all. In fact, neither my neck, nor my head, touched the restraints at any time. I think those turns add to the overall feeling of being out-of-control. The horseshoe roll was great, I enjoyed being flipped by those corksrews so quickley. The two airtime hills made me feel like my brain was threatening to launch from my head, and my mid-ride launch was the icing on the cake. The only way this coaster could be better, is if they let you go around a few more times after your first ride. I waited and hour and a half, and it was well worth it. I still would've thought that if I had to wait 5 hours to ride. Maverick is my new #1 rollercoaster. Good job Cedar Point and Intamin.

For lunch, I ate at the Midway Market buffet, which includes food of many different country styles, and while obviously overpriced, it filled up and tasted great.

I have nothing to say bad about Cedar Point, all the staff were friendly, the rides were (obviously) phenomenal, the food was good, and I will be visitng again, 100% chance.
