Single riders allowed on Coney Island Cyclone?

I'm going with two friends tomorrow but is one of us going to have to wait to ride? I've heard that they assign seats for you the first ride but would they pair one of us with a stranger or just make one of us wait?

 

Also, is the new Luna Park a part of Deno's Wonder Wheel park? I haven't been to the C.I. area in a while so I'm not sure if they're connected or separate. Is it worth it to pay for the 4/6 hr ride band or are there not enough rides for that?

I haven't ridden the Cyclone in two years, but they allowed single riders last time I was there. However they will try to pair single riders together if a single rider is waiting and the seat next to you is empty.

 

Deno's Wonder Wheel Park is a seperate park from Luna Park.

 

If you like flat rides the wrsitband is worth it at Luna Park.

Thanks. Also, on a somewhat related note, would you recommend Grimaldi's Pizzeria since we're pretty close by car? I normally wouldn't go out of my way to try all these things but my friend is bringing her friend from Spain with her and we wanted to show her some sights. I've heard some great things about Grimaldi's but I'm not sure if it's worth the trip

Yes, Grimaldi's is awesome. But it's is very hard to find free parking in that area though.
