kumba830 Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Question for German locals- So I will be going to Germany this year [90% chance] and I need to know If my German friend who is 6'6" can ride all if not most of the rides at the following parks: Hansa park, PhantasiaLand, and Olympia Looping. All responses are greatly appreciated. -Thanks, Nathan Sta.
Groteslurf Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 I believe there is an height restrictions on Black Mamba of 200 cms or even 195 cms. 6'6 being 198 cms, your friend might not get to ride Black Mamba at Phantasialand.
kumba830 Posted June 17, 2010 Author Posted June 17, 2010 Well when he was here in America he was able to ride Batman at SFGAm. But do they have a universal max. height for B&M's or not?
Groteslurf Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 Don't know about that, but the height restrictions for Black Mamba has something to do with the theming (in the last helices of the ride)
ParkTrips Posted June 17, 2010 Posted June 17, 2010 It was 1,95m. Talocan was the same, and I believe Winjas was too. I know I was close as I am about 1,9m (6'3") - you must wear shoes on Black Mamba as well. I had to bring shoes to Germany for that sole purpose, when I would have preferred flip flops Phantasialand is a nice park, but when several of the biggest rides have max heights, it might be one of the least-friendly parks for tall people. Also, for some reason, I am remembering a max on Dueling Dragons.
