Forum Members! Add Facebook, Twitter, Etc to your Profile!

Hey TPR Forum Members!

 

I have noticed recently a lot of our members adding their Twitter and Facebook links into their signature or responding to the "Post your Facebook/Twitter Page here" and I realized, maybe some members don't know that with our new forum software, you have the ability to add the links to your profile and they also show up with cool little click able icons every time you post!

 

Here are the instructions on how to update this in your profile.

 

1. Log into TPR's forum using your username and password here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/

 

2. Click on "User Control Panel" (It's on the left hand side under the calendar)

 

3. Click on the "Profile" tab

 

4. Here you can enter lots of social networking links and information! Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube, etc. Follow the instructions on the left hand side of the page as some of the links you'll need to input a little different. They are not all just a "copy/paste" of the URL.

 

Also, I would strongly recommend adding your "Location" so that if we have an event in your area, we can send you an email about it! If you are in one of the US States put your State Abbreviation (CA = California), if you are in Canada, please do the same. For other countries please add the name of your country (England, France, Australia, Germany, etc)

 

If you want to keep your social networking information in your signature too, that's fine! But I wanted you all to know this option was available!

I tried getting TPR on my phone and I could log on and comment and everything! You can even make a photo TR if you wanted to!
