nln00b Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Hello Everyone! As you may know, I am not the best at making NL coasters. However, I have a favorite. This was one of my first creations ever. It's supposed to be a B&M Dive Machine. Please leave some feedback. Thanks! Skydiver-090808141208000.bmpSkydiver.nltrack
Coaster Cow Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 I'd suggest comparing it to some real Dive Machines on rcdb.com to get this more accurate, in terms of first drops and supports. I'd like to see some more pictures though!
thrillrideseeker Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 This was one of my first creations ever. Well with that being said I am going to try and point out a few things that you could do that would make your coaster more realistic! - Make the "holding brake" a chain segment, and just alter the speed and dec. g's to make it slow down a lot. Pay close attention to a real dive machine and you will notice that the train never comes to a complete stop on the holding brake. - Shrink your first element. There is no reason to have a launch at the bottom of the first drop! Just make the element a little smaller and the train would make it through without the assistance of a launch! - Add a transport device to the brake run right before the lift, other wise it fails the e-stop test. - Make your mid course brake run like half the size! It is HUGE compared to the train! - Same goes for your final brake run(s) they are WAY to big! Those were just a few pointers on how you could make your coaster a little more realistic! But on a positive note... I LOVED the colors! ~Matthew
