SunsetKali Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Hey there everybody. I'm relatively new to No Limits and I have a few coasters already built, so I wanted to post some to get some feedback from you guys for my future works. Hades Splinter.nltrack Hades Splinter track file Sky View of my first No Limits coaster This is my first No Limits coaster ever, and I think it turned out pretty well. This is a fantasy coaster, so yes I know that its A) too long to be a real coaster, B) yes there are some pumps, and C) I know that you can't really do what I did at the start of a second part (You'll have to figure that part out on your own...it's a surprise ) Your feedback and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated!
Coaster Cow Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Wow! Looks amazing, especially for a first design! I would love if you could post more screens or get a video for those without NL, considering that I still haven't found out why mine won't work.
SunsetKali Posted March 23, 2010 Author Posted March 23, 2010 As requested here are some more pictures first drop weird little turnaround helix in part 1 preview of the crazy-ness of part 2
10ryansmith Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 That turnaround looks painful. The transition from on hill to the other is too small (to my untrained eye). Other than that it looks great.
the ghost Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I'll ride it tonight after school, but the last picture kind of looks like a wooden tophat. It is not necessarily un realistic, but I dont recomend making a hill that steep commonly because it either means the pacing is way off at the top, or gives red ejector airtime. That being said, the layout is interesting, and no matter how it rides it looks pretty great for a first coaster, altrhough the length of the track slightly worries me as the pacing might be off, the track is huge, which is fine if pacing is not affected.
SunsetKali Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 ^Ok cool, I would love the feedback Also, I forgot to mention this is theoretically two roller coasters in one. I know this can never be put into a real theme park. I'm working on making the two parts their own roller coaster, but as for now keep in mind the "fantasy" element when reviewing. Thanks!
the ghost Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 That ride was pretty fun... until the launch. It made the ride get sooo much more pumpy, especially in the back seat. On a positive side, the airtime was redoncoulasly awesome, it rode like an Intamin plug n play. It also wasn't crazy pumpy, and it was an all in all pretty original ride.
