robs_oracle Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Hello everyone, looking for some advice or some hints and tips when planning a trip to the Orlando area for the last part of May 2010. This will be my first trip anywhere outside Europe and I really want to get the most out of the trip, so I have turned to you for some advice. The plan is to visit these places: Universal Studios IOA Busch Gardens Tampa Some of Disneyworld The questions are: Where should I be staying where I can be in easy reach of all these places? Does anyone know of anywhere to stay that is low budget yet acceptable? Should I be hiring a car, especially to get to Busch Gardens? How busy is the end of May in theme parks around Orlando? Do any of you know about any cheap ticket deals for any of the parks listed? I think that is all for the moment, if anyone has anything else to add, advice or otherwise please do. I look forward to you responses. Rob

noticias24 Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 You should definitely hire a car!. Distances are quite difficult to cover, especially in public transportation!. Anyway if you don't want to hire a car there's a shuttle that leaves from near Sea World to BGT, and costs like 10$ or so and comes back to the same spot in the afternoon. I would suggest to stay in the Universal area, since you don't seem very interested in going to Disney. Hope it helps!
