ASU University Hall Implosion

^That's always fun to watch buildings being demolished. I have a morbid fascination with watching implosion videos

 

Are they making way for something new or just removing a problematic building? Construction is always exciting. My campus has basically made a complete turnaround in the last decade. It (University of Cincinnati) has undergone a massive rebuilding program that has changed it into a world class campus. I wish I was around to see some of the demolition that happened years before I first arrived. We had a 27 story dorm building called Sander Hall that was imploded in 1991 due to the decrease in students attending the university and the diminishing novelty of living in a high rise dorm building. It's crazy how tall the building was though for a dorm building. The dorm I stayed in freshman year is the small brick building to the left of Sander Hall in the second view in this video, and that was a 13 story building.
