iplf Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Because we probably all love travelling, meeting new people and visiting new themeparks, this thing MIGHT work out. I'm not sure though cause I always get the impression most themepark-fans prefer a decent hotel over alternative ways of travelling/sleeping. Quick info for anyone not familiar with couchsurfing: Couchsurfing is basically offering a place to sleep for free so that other people can contact you to sleep over, and you can contact others as well. There's already a HUGE website with a ton of profiles: www.couchsurfing.org What I'm trying to do with this topic is setting up a list/index/whatever of people hosting a couch or bed close to a themepark/some themeparks so that other people might meet up, stay over and visit the themepark (or anything else). So IF you're interested in doing this, how about you fill in this form: Name: Birth year: Gender: Place (city + country): Nearby themeparks + distance: How many people can you host: Couch or bed: Link to your couchsurfing profile (if you have one): If this isn't a big success, just let this thread die in peace
iplf Posted September 6, 2009 Author Posted September 6, 2009 I'll start: Name: Maarten Birth year: 1988 Gender: M Place (city + country): Leuven, BELGIUM Nearby themeparks + distance: Walibi Belgium (40 minutes) Bobbejaanland (60 minutes) Other parks within 2 hours: Phantasialand, Toverland, Plopsaland How many people can you host: 1, maybe 2 Couch or bed: 1 bed, 1 airbed Link to your couchsurfing profile (if you have one): http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/iplf/
