Hopkins County Fair TR

Tuesday night I went to our local fair in Madisonvile,KY. It was,to say the least,interesting.I would have taken some photos with my phone,but it died rather quickly so no photos. But, I did take some and I may upload them later.

 

Anyways we arrived at the fairgrounds and paid for the ten dollar wristband,and arrived at our first ride, a standard frisbee ride it was fun and suprisingly safe looking, altough the ride op was smoking while she checked our restraints.

 

After that experience we played some carnival games ran by the most annoying people in the world,carnies. Our prize: a cheap a$$ ball-in-a-cup.

 

Next up horror house and scorpion.Both were structurally unsound and equally scary. The horror house itself didn't scare us,it was the smell of asbestos that did! But the Scorpian scared us through it's creaking noise and the bludgeoning of my girlfriend who happened to be seated in the crusher seat of the ride.

 

We then arrived at a standard fun house. The fun house was great but the carnie running it was scary. To put it short, he had two yellow teeth. thats all we could notice about him. after that we rode a couple more structurally unsound rides such as The ring Of Fire,Gravitron,Tornado,Tilt-n-Hurl,and The Sea Dragon pirate ship with unreasonably loud music.

 

Our last ride of the night was Typhoon which is hard to describe,nut I think its the same thing as The Moby Dick ride at Beech Bend. It was fun except for the metal OTSR's that nearly crushed my head when they came down without warning!

 

It then rained, and we had to leave our little ghetto fair and go home. Long story short we lived through a ghetto fair.
