Amnesiac Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I have always wanted to go to Tokyo DisneySea since I first saw pictures of this amazing park but I always assumed that I would never be able to. Well now that I have graduated college and have a job it might be possible for me to go one day. I know a few people on this site have been there and I was looking for some advice. About how much do you think it would cost, flying out from the Midwest? Are there any good sites with packages that can set you up with flights, tickets, and hotel? This isn't going to happen anytime soon, I just wanted to get an idea of how feasible it would be and what kind of cost so maybe I could start saving up for it. Let me know if you have any information. I would appreciate it!
gisco Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 Your not getting a lot of responses because your request is pretty general. You would be better off doing a little research yourself then asking specific questions. What else do you want to do in Tokyo? What time of year you plan on going? etc. What I would do is first is read the guide Robb & Elissa did from when they went in 05. Then I would decide what time of year I would be going. Then go to a site like Travelocity.com and plug in the dates. That will give you a general idea of what airfare and hotels will cost. Go to the Disney site to find out ticket prices. From there you can now set a budget and start asking more specific questions. Why not take a TPR trip? They have been to Tokyo the last 2 years and will probably go back in a year or two. Hope that helps a little.
jray21 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Another thing to consider is time of year. The best calendar to judge which times to go would be the tokyo disney website, just scroll down to see the calendars. http://www.disneyhotels.jp/english/reserve/dhm_price_e.html I almost always go in early June because school finals are at the end of the month and the japanese are very serious about school. The parks are usually empty and a lot better. At Yomiuriland we counted 13 people for the 4 hours we were there.
