Philidelphia Tobbogan Company?

I have read abit on PTC lately and I couldn't find this answer. Why are they called a "Tobbogan "company? They didn't start off making tobbogans did they? I did not read anything about them ever making Tobbogans, only other smaller flat rides and merry-go-rounds. Unless it means something I don't know about perhaps?

"Toboggan" was just another name for "roller coaster." That was PTC's main product, so that's the name they chose. At least that's what they say on the company site: http://www.philadelphiatoboggancoastersinc.com/hauchy.html.
