JustLikeMe Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I'm planning on going to Cedar Point for the first time this October - provisionally the weekend of the 11/12. Disregarding weather and other unpredictable factors does this seem like a good weekend to go to the park? I'm thinking along the lines of crowds etc... The website says that the park is open Noon til Midnight on Saturday and 10am to 10pm Sunday - providing that we stay in an on sight hotel on the Saturday night to get early entry on Sunday does this seem a reasonable amount of time to get onto the majority of the rides? Is the park normally crowded on October weekends? Thanks in advance for any help!
dandaman Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Plan on the crowds being more scary than the fall entertainment on Saturday (like 2-hour-wait-for-Wicked-Twister scary) and about a May weekend for Sunday. People say you can't predict the crowds for any given day, but Saturdays can be best categorized as "packed". Dan "Mind you, the houses, walks etc. are open longer on that day" Smith
haux Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Try to go on Friday. The park shouldn't be crowded at all, and you can ride the major rides. Saturday will probably be packed. Sunday might be crowded, but Sundays are generally not too bad.
