teacherkarl Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 So I got RCT3 back when it came out, quickly got tired of it, and quit playing for a while. Recently I started playing it again, only to design coasters (I don't have the patience for park management!). Anyway, I'm wondering what new coaster elements and/or types are included in the expansion packs? For example, can you make more realistic Immelmans on B&M coasters, or better Zero-G rolls? Just want to know if the expansion packs would be worth it for me to make better coasters than what the basic RCT3 game allows me to do.
kraken613 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Yep Wild for the extended coaster! Whish does all your B&M needs!
kraken613 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Its what everyone uses to build B&M coasters you can use all the B&M trains and has ALOT of elements! Theres a few other coaster types they have put in also. And if your into the designing I recommend you getting No Limits!
teacherkarl Posted August 29, 2008 Author Posted August 29, 2008 I tried the demo version of NoLimits the other day - it was like I was looking at a foreign language, and the Help menu didn't seem to do anything. I mean nothing made sense! Is the purchased version very difficult to use? I've seen videos of several NoLimits coasters built by others over the years. Amazing how realistic they are.
kraken613 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 It just takes sometime to get used to using it. It does get easier as you learn Im not the best NL player but im sure people would help you in learning how to use it!
AlmereStars Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 No Limits looks really weird and Swedish or something when you play it for the first time, but if you follow the tutorials that are all over the net you'll get there. If you got the basics under control you'll just go one step further. Before you know it you'll make the best B&M there is
