Besides having a job over the summer, does being a ride op have any benefits? I've heard they get to ride the coaster/ride every hour or so to listen for any problems and make sure everything is going smoothly. I'm sure they also have some funny stories to tell. So, what do you think? Is it a good experience to be a ride op. What are the pros and cons?

PLEASE learn to use the search function correctly. It's not an excuse to say you searched when a simple search for "theme park job" yields a ton of results.
