Mayhemfest is a yearly traveling rock/metal festival that just started this year. (First show was just over a week ago, on the 9th) I'm going to the festival on August 5th at the tweeter center. Mainly to see Disturbed, Slipknot, and Five Finger Death Punch, and I can't wait! So who else is going or has already gone?

I went on July 14, and let me tell you, it was freakin badass! Except for the fact that it was 100degrees, it was amazing. This was the first time I have seen most of these bands and they didn't hold back. The bands I thought that rocked the small stages were Black Tide, Underoath, 36 Crazy Fists, Suicide Silence, and 5FDP. Then on the main stage, Disturbed put on the most f*cking badass performance in my life. Then of cource Slipknot was almost as badass. Clown was the life of that show, untill Joey Jordisons upside down drum solo during disasterpeices. BTW, I hope Mastodon won't be as bad at the other shows like they were at this one.

Glad to see the bands I am going for are putting on good shows. So Mastodon didn't put on a good show? I didn't think they would put on a good one. Just don't care for them. How was Dragonforce?

Yeah, Mastodon was horrible. It was one, large, loud,annoying noise. I could not hear when they were done. Umm, Dragonforce was pretty good. Not as good as Slipknot or Disturbed, but if you like Dragonforce, you'll be happy with the show, especially when they played their new song. I'm not sure what his name is, but their keyboardist was rockin out big time.

 

BTW, when Slipknot plays Corey(#8) will tell you a little story about Sid(#0).
