Skyscraper Upcharge Rides

I rode my first Skyscraper-type ride last week at the Brockton Fair (KMG Speed) and I loved it! I've seen other variations at fairs and parks.. how many different types of these rides actually exist and what are the differences? Which is the one that has three arms, I've seen this one in photos somehwere.

If we're talking about the same ride, I think there is one at the Mid South Fair in Memphis but I might be wrong.
