Dr. Voodoo Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 OK, on Wikepedia it says Cadar Point (Opeaned in 1870) is the Second oldest park in the USA, After Lake Compounce (Opened in 1845) But on rcdb it Says SFNE .a.k.a. Riverside .a.k.a. Gallops Grove Opened in 1840, Meaning It is older than Both CP & LC then would Cedar Point Be the 3rd oldest?
robbalvey Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 If you read it on the interets in must be true!
RaptorBoyASU Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 ^^I think it means those that had rides. I'm not sure though. I know that Cedar Point opened their first coaster in 1892, and from what I can find online, Riverside/Gallup's Grove didn't have any rides until after 1900. I can't seem to find a timeline for Compounce
