Vekoma Fan Boy Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Hey all, I just downloaded Google Sketchup, and I've gotten the hang of how things work, except for 2 things, 1, how can I export a model to .3ds? I can only export it to .kms. And 2, how can I change the 'snap', if you will, from 1/2" to 1/4"? Because when I want to make a straight edge that is, say 60 feet long, I'd like to be able to just draw it 60' long instead of drawing it like, 60'3/4", going into "Entity Settings, and changing the length there. I'm using the architectural (Feet and Inches) setting for my measurements if that makes a difference...
sfotkid Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 When I used to have it I just edited the files name from .kms to .3ds and worked fine for me and two its been so long I dont remember. Hope this helps
