I've been going to Enchanted Village ever since it opened. Back then, they had a storybook theme and the rides were for the kids, which was fine because I was a kid. Later, they opened up Wild Waves. I spent many summers there as well.

Recently Six Flags bought them out or the owners of Wild Waves bought the 6 Flags name. All I know is that the prices have soared and the quality and plummeted. Sure, they put more rides in but that seems about it. The place just seems unkempt. I know of one ride which had two planes that didn't raise and lower. The next year the same planes were still out of service.

I'd say more than half of the people working there have a bad attitude or no attitude at all. I know you can't force friendliness but if they were to pay their people more they could be more choosy about who they hire.

I just went to their web site and that has bugs.

We just came back from Disneyland this weekend and although I can't expect WW/EV to compete, it would make me think twice about visiting any other Six Flags theme park outside Washington.

Six Flags should step in and do something with that place or sell it to someone who would justify the prices.

As I mentioned, this place has new rides and they are pretty nice but I expect that as the years roll on these too will fall into disarray.

If you want my opinion, take all of your interns to http://www.whirlyball.net/. That game is a freakin' blast. I've seen adults run to get in on the next game, me included.

Wow. A little late with the response, but better late than never... I went there with another intern (I did an internship at Boeing this summer) like 2 months ago. I think i did a trip report about it also. But I am now long gone out of the Puget Sound area. Chillin it up in Cleveland until october when I can finally go home to Connichussetts... But thanks for the response. Actually, I have never had a bad time at a six flags park. Yeah, their service isnt that great, but I still have a good time usually. WW/EV was just extremely small. We did the whole park in about 3.5 hours, water park and all, and it was quite busy.

Yea, Washington doesn't really have the weather for a huge outdoor theme park. I've attended the Fight Fest and Holiday of Lights. October is usually cold and rainy. December is usually the same, but colder. We get about 6 weeks of weather that would allow for WW use.

I saw that you posted way back in June but I figured others might get some use out of the response.
