BradleyRJ06 Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 It’s just a rumor right now, but we’ve heard that the 2008 project may be bigger in size that we had previously guessed. If the latest rumors are true, we’re not looking at a Mouse coaster, but a new medium sized Intamin coaster (121 feet tall) with several inversions (including a Cobra Roll) that will take over the old Chute Out slide location, stretching from here over to the Wildcat. Typically Intamin isn’t known for their standard non-launched looping coasters in the US, but internationally they’ve created several Mega Loopers with 8-10 inversions. So far 7 is the most inversions in the USA, so perhaps Hersheypark will be shooting to take the record for most inversions in North America. Just a thought and this is still only a rumor right now. Anyone know more?
alpengeist04 Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 This should probably be in the rumor thread, until an announcement is made by Hershey.
