Instead of telling you about the day minute by minute, I will just lay down some notes from the day.

 

The park was packed, almost the whole parking lot was used up.

 

Wild Thing, Renegade, and Steel Venom were all using the switchbacks. Waits were about 40 minutes for Wild Thing, an hour for Renegade, and and about 50 minutes for Steel Venom.

 

Every Coaster except for Excalibur was using two trains. Corkscrew and High Roller included.

 

The fireworks lasted about 25 minutes and were very good.

 

All crews were very, very fast at loading and unloading coasters and rides.

 

The waterpark from about 12-5 pm was very packed. The line for Hurricane Falls at one point was near the bottom of the tower.

 

Was on the last Renegade train of the night.

 

I got to see the crew take off the Blue train on Renegade at about 12:15 am. It took about a minute for them to move the track put the train on and move the track back. Very cool.
