Inuk Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Hello, Next week I will be hitting theme parks in Virginia and Maryland ( SFA, KD, BGW, Water Country). I was looking for a few simple tips on each park- I already have tickets and hotels. Basically for each park I am interested in what rides have the longest waits and which ones break down the most often. Also I'd love to know if anyone has any thoughts on what attractions are a must see- or a special find. Something that the average guest might normally skip over. Thanks in advance!
resonancej Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Honestly man, if I were you I would do a search of the forums, I think you will find more than enough info on all those parks (especially BGE). I myself am planning a trip to PKD in august and found quite a bit.
Inuk Posted July 4, 2007 Author Posted July 4, 2007 I really did search -and nothing signifigant came up. For example when I searched for BGW all I got was info about Shiekra going floorless! I knew someone was going to tell to me search- it always happens on message boards. Do you realize this topic had 21 pages----- twenty fricking one! Even if it is a repeat- help a fellow coaster lover out!

Inuk Posted July 6, 2007 Author Posted July 6, 2007 That first link was a big help- thanks! I probally should have search for BGE, I forget that many people abbreviate it that way now. I still have not found anything worth while on Kings Dominion, so if anyone has any tips I'd love it! Maybe I should search for PKD... I think I will try that.
yankees15 Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 This was my game plan that I had for King's Dominion the other week: First go right to Hypersonic at opening you should get on that and be off within a few minutes. Then go to Hurler, Ricochet, and Rebel Yell. After that head to Drop Zone. Then head over to Volcano, it will have a wait but is worth the wait. Flight of Fear is next followed by Alvalanche, Anaconda, and Italian Job. Then go back and get on Shockwave, Grizzly, and if you must, Scooby Doo and Taxi Jam. After this the rest of the day is your's to reride whatever you please. This plan worked for me and I was finished with the park in about 5-6 hours, but it was 106 degrees so everyone was in the water park.
