TR: SFMW 5/28/05

Hey guys went to Six Flags Marine World on Saturday and Heres how it went:

 

We left the house about 8:15 to get there at 9:30. We didn’t get there till 10:20 cause of the traffic crossing the bridge. We finally arrived there and we then waited for another 10 min for the tram (my mom need the tram). We got to the front and headed straight for medusa! Since it was my first time on the rides there, it looked the biggest so I just went there first.

 

We got inline and it only took us about 10 mins there. We sat in the 2nd row and that ride kicks ass! And for how many inversions it has it was inscrutably smooth! We then went to Kong. IT broke down when we were inline and so we waited for it to reopen. Only took about 10 mins.

 

Kong was a fun ride (hurtful) but fun. We took my 8yr old sister on it she loved it! We then saw the Dolphin show (nothing special). We then headed over too the bird show (I almost fell asleep). We then saw the Tasmanian devil. Must say it’s a little but funnier then Delirium and PGA (spins a lot more). We then went to see Shouka show. Great Show (kind of short) But good Show. Sat in the front row to get wet (always fun)

 

We then headed over to Boomerang. Took my 8yr old sister on it and she absolutely loved it! We did that ride 3 times! WE then went to the animal part of the park and went on Voodoo. I could walk straight for a while after that one but still fun.

 

Then on the way out we hit V2 and Roar. Both great rides.

 

Medusa: 9/10: I loved this ride cause of how smooth and different it was from the rides ive been on.

 

Kong: 5/10: It was okay. The only cool thing was how it was close to the Pillars.

 

Boomerang: 6/10: Invertigo is way better. But the speed and the cars sucked

 

Roar: 7/10: It was a wooden ride. That’s it. Nothing Special

 

V2: 8/10: The Boost kicked ass and everything else was average.

 

Overall it was a very fun day. Great Weather, Great Food, Good Family. Photos will be here soon!

the thing i dont like about medusa is it goes so slow over all of the twist and turns that it makes it not thrilling. there arent a lot of gs either.

 

When i saw the new whale it wouldnt do what it is supposed to do so they had to end the show before they started.

 

sounds like you had a lot of fun. i wish i was there. 8)

 

so do you like pga or sfmw better?
