Photo TR: Animal Kingdom & EPCOT 6/3

This past Sunday my mom and I took our second trip to Disney this year. The first was merely 2 weeks ago. Since we had spent the day at EPCOT a couple weeks ago we decided to hit up another park this time. And Expedition Everest being a huge draw, we decided on Animal Kingdom. And this time my camera didn't screw up on me so I've got pictures. Yay!

There is awesome theming all around this ride. It's worth waiting in the queue once.

Disney is the only place I still see Balzac. I actually didn't know they were still made.

Lots of animals to be seen today. First up, Hippos!!

No bad dancing is allowed on this or any other Disney Ride! You must sit up straight and hold the hand of the person next to you!

After grabbing a fast pass for Everest, our first ride of the day was Kilimanjaro Safaris

It was pretty crowded as we cruised into Animal Kingdom at 11:30.

Next up was EPCOT. And the real reason we made the 2 1/2 hour trip to Disney.

Walking from the car into EPCOT. It looks so far away.

We got awesome sauerkraut and frankfurters for dinner in Germany. Too bad we never got to see Soren.

My mom loves Peter Noone and he puts on a great show. We've seen him about 5 times in the past two years, including last year at EPCOT

Now the real reason why we were there. Peter Noone from Herman's Hermits was playing!

Mexico. Home of the Gran Fiesta Tour. We rode two weeks ago, but sadly those pics are gone.

I was bored waiting for the boat across the Lagoon so I took pics. Here's Tower of Terror behind Morocco. I never realized how close these parks are.

Ive been told that the warden on Kilimanjaro has been changed. How was it. I haven't gotten over to DAK to check it out yet?

 

Also I was at EPCOT yesterday and can report that some of the Flower and Garden stuff is already down. The last day was on Sunday. The first thing I noticed was the ship out in the front is down.

The warden's speaking part has changed (not significantly, but noticably) and the second bridge doesn't shake anymore. Being that the latter was completely pointless anyway it's not missed.

^^ I haven't been on it enough times to notice the difference. This was only my third time since Animal Kingdom opened.

 

^ The second bridge shook on Sunday. I'm not sure how much it shook before so if that's change I don't know.

peter noone is omnipresent. wherever you want him to be, he's there. fall festival? there. epcot? there. american idol? there.

Hehe. It's true. With my Mom being a huge fan too, we've seen him at least 6 times that I can count. I'm starting to know which songs he plays in concert. He shakes up the order, but there's a few that never change. It definitely is a good show so I recommend seeing him if you get the chance.
